KinmiseTerms of Use
These terms describe using Kinmise’s meal-planning, recipe, shopping, cooking, and pantry services. Kinmise is operated by Steve Erickson. Contact support@kinmise.app with questions.
App license
The iOS app is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, unless the App Store listing provides a different applicable license. That agreement addresses the app license and related warranty, liability, and dispute provisions. These service terms describe household features, content, and memberships.
Your account and household
Provide accurate account details, protect your sign-in credentials, and use Kinmise lawfully. You must be at least 13; if you are under the age of majority, use the service with your parent or guardian’s permission. Invite only trusted household members. Members can view and change shared content. Kinmise household access is separate from Apple Family Sharing.
Your content
You retain ownership of the content you provide. You give Kinmise permission to host, process, synchronize, and display that content as needed to operate the features you choose, including sharing it with your household. Upload only content you have the right to use. Do not submit unlawful, infringing, or malicious material or attempt unauthorized access.
Free and paid memberships
Free includes up to 50 saved recipes. Pro and Elite include unlimited saved recipes and pantry access. Pro supports a household of up to 4 members; Elite supports up to 8. Available products, local prices, billing periods, and eligible offers are shown before purchase in Apple’s purchase sheet.
Apple processes subscriptions. They renew automatically unless canceled under the conditions shown by Apple. Introductory offers, when available, apply only to eligible accounts and the specified product and period; the renewal price is shown before purchase. Manage or cancel using Apple Subscriptions. Refund requests are handled through Apple’s refund service, subject to Apple’s rules and applicable law.
Paid access requires a verified active entitlement and can change when a subscription expires or a purchase is refunded or revoked. Deleting Kinmise or a Kinmise account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Contact support if purchase access is missing.
Recipes, AI, and food safety
Imported, extracted, or AI-generated recipes and images can contain errors. Check ingredients, quantities, product labels, allergens, cooking temperatures, and instructions before use. Kinmise does not provide medical advice or guarantee that a meal meets an allergy or dietary requirement. Generated images are illustrations and may differ from the dish.
Availability and changes
Features depend on compatible devices, permissions, connectivity, and provider availability. Offline changes may require reconnection to synchronize. We may update features or restrict misuse. Receipt scanning is not offered at launch. Information handling is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Leaving Kinmise
You may stop using Kinmise and initiate account deletion in Account and settings → Account. Shared household records may remain for other members. If a sole owner deletes their account, the household’s cloud content is deleted. See the Privacy Policy for details. Nothing in these terms removes rights that applicable law does not allow to be waived.
